The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) was created to help veterans start and grow their businesses. The Veterans Business Outreach Center Program provides business development services such as business training and counseling. Eligible individuals are transitioning service members, veterans, National Guard & Reserve members and military spouses. These organizations are tasked to provide services to help our veteran small businesses succeed. The U.S. Small Business Administration oversees this program and has 22 organizations providing services to Veterans nationally.

Services Provided by the Centers
- Pre-Business Plan Workshops
VBOC provides workshops on a variety of business topics. An important segment of these workshops involves the using the Internet as a tool for developing and expanding businesses. Each client has the opportunity to work with a business counselor. - Business Plan Preparations
VBOC helps clients in developing and maintaining a five-year business plan. The business plan includes selecting an entity, equipment and cost, organizational structure, a strategic plan, market analysis, and a financial plan. Financial plans include financial projections, budget projections, and funding requirements. - Comprehensive Feasibility Analysis
VBOC help in identifying and analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of your business plan to increase the likelihood of success. The results of the analysis are used to revise the strategic planning portion of the business plan. - Entrepreneurial Training and Counseling
VBOC will work with other SBA resource partners to ensure that our veterans receive the training and counseling that they need to succeed. - Mentorship
